Monthly Luncheon with Susan Hinton

We invite you to join us for our monthly luncheon featuring a conversation with Susan Hinton, Chair of the Sierra Club Loma Prieta Chapter Plastic Pollution Prevention Team. Susan is a retired software engineer who actively lobbies local governments, including the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors and the Palo Alto City Council, to enact ordinances banning new artificial turf installations. She has also served on the chapter’s Water Committee and Environmental Stewardship Program.

Outside of her work with the Sierra Club, Susan has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster youth in Silicon Valley for over five years. An avid hiker and photographer, she is also involved with the California Native Plant Society.

Tickets are $30 for Current Members (paid for 2026) and $35 for Non-Members. Not sure if you're current on your dues? Send us an email to check. Tickets ARE refundable and/or transferable.
