Dianna Zamora-Marroquin serves as Senior Director of Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (PPMM), the largest affiliate in the country. where she is responsible for legislative lobbying, community engagement, grassroots advocacy, and media affairs.  Prior to joining PPMM, Dianna was Senior Director of Political Strategy and Operations for the South Bay Labor Council, where she developed the political program and ran the largest grassroots political operation in Santa Clara County.

Dianna will join us for a conversation about the work of Planned Parenthood to protect and expand health care access and reproductive rights in the Bay Area and beyond. We'll also discuss how you can get involved as an advocate.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Dianna has enjoyed a successful career, holding positions ranging from a Consultant for the Select Committee on California-Latin American Affairs for a State Assemblymember to the Public Policy Manager for a State Senator. She has worked for a renowned research firm in San Diego as their Senior Project Director and lived in Washington, D.C. where she served as the Communications Director for two California Congressmen.

Dianna's work has earned her much-deserved recognition, including being named Congressmember Ro Khanna's inaugural Woman of the Year in 2024 and an award from State Assemblymember Alex Lee. Dianna currently serves as the President of the Latina Coalition Silicon Valley and on the San José Spotlight Community Advisory Board. She is a member of the Rotary Club of San José, sits on the Board of Democratic Activists for Women Now (DAWN), and is a voting member of the Santa Clara County Democratic Central Committee.

Dianna, who is fluent in Spanish, earned a bachelor's degree in International Relations with a minor in Italian from the University of Southern California (Fight On!) and a master’s degree in Global Leadership with a certification in Project Management from the University of San Diego.

Tickets are $30 for Current Members (paid for 2025) and $35 for Non-Members. A one-month grace period is offered to begin each calendar year. Not sure if you're current on your dues? Send us an email to check. Tickets ARE refundable and/or transferable.
